The latest Urban Bourbon Trail Passport will debut on Sept. 1. 8UP is the newest venue on the trail, which has grown to 36 stops and showcases Louisville’s best Bourbon bars and restaurants. Several UBT stops will have specials throughout the month of September, including 8UP’s “Bourbon and Coke” with Old Forester Signature Bourbon, 8UP Mexican Coke Reduction & Cherry Bark Vanilla Bitters.
In conjunction with Bardstown’s annual week-long Kentucky Bourbon Festival in September, Louisville restaurants, bars and the Louisville Visitors Center will be hosting various Bourbon-themed events open to the public to bring Bourbon drinkers and leisure travelers into the city. 8UP Elevated Drinkery & Kitchen at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown will host a Bourbon Heritage Month kick-off reception on August 30 in partnership with the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau. Reception will be open to the public from 5 to 7 p.m. and feature Bourbon cocktails and appetizers.
